Two-Week Recap

OK, so I realize it's been a while since the last post. Maybe I needed a break... or maybe I've been lazy. But I think it's more likely that we've been settling into real parenting, and with that comes less time for picture taking and storytelling. At any rate, here's a quick review of some things that Molly did in the first two weeks of 2011.

She went for a walk in Brooklyn Bridge Park
with her folks (that's the Manhattan Bridge behind us).

She slept in with her Dad.

She went on her first family restaurant outing. To Sripraphai, no less,
for those of you in the City.

She took her first trip to Manhattan...

...and the grocery store.

She had her first bottle feeding with Dad.

She got caught sleeping.
(The flash didn't wake her.)

And she was cute for no reason at all.

Also, she had her first smile on New Years Day... but it's surfaced infrequently since, and has so far hasn't been captured on film (or SD card, rather).

We're off to Georgia tomorrow (her first flight). First, to Albany for 5 days, so she can meet her SOWEGA family... and then North to Atlanta for another week. Big post to follow.

MKS in MMXI

Happy New Year everyone! Our friends and neighbors Heidi and Jeremy came over last night to help ring in 2011. And Grandmama was there, too... on the last night before she returns to Georgia... sniff. Molly sort of stayed up until midnight, but not without enduring the requisite photographic humiliations that come with any holiday (see below).

Way past her bedtime.

The nursery this morning.

Courtney, Molly, and I wish all of you luck and happiness in the coming New Year.
